The author discusses the current issues of labor education of the younger generation in Russia.

The article is devoted to the problem of worldview and its importance in the life of man and society. The purpose of the article is to consider the levels and structure of worldview. The characteristics of worldview in German philosophical literature of the late 18th – early 19th centuries, as well as in Russian philosophers of the late 19th – early 20th centuries are shown. It is noted that in the 60-70s of the twentieth century, a personal-oriented direction in understanding the worldview was substantiated. Transformation of the social, political and value structure of society and its influence on the worldview of a person, on the components of the worldview revealed knowledge, values and action programs. The main types of values are identified. The results of this article can be used in teaching general and special courses in philosophy, sociology and psychology.

The issue of the revival and expansion of traditional values in Russian society has recently become a topic of this article. The purpose of this article is to examine and analyze the dynamics of traditional value perceptions among student youth. The role of education and its functions in facilitating student engagement with the achievements of human civilization and the formation and preservation of its cultural heritage are demonstrated. The article identifies the main groups of values held by student youth and the influence of social and political changes in the country on changing perceptions of traditional values.
