The article illustrates the stage of the formation of anti-Bolshevik forces at at the Transbaikalia and the Far East regions, and also provides an overview of the events that determinates the Civil War.

Based on the analysis of the works of K. Marx and V.I. Lenin, the attitude of Marxism to the idea of parliamentarism is investigated. The author comes to the conclusion about the pragmatic approach of the Bolsheviks to the idea of parliamentarism, using it in the struggle for power and completely rejecting it after coming to power.
