This study presents the results of psychological studies of the possible impact of the use of digital technologies on the mental health of children and adolescents. This is important because of the significant increase in the time that children and teenagers spend using various digital formats. It is believed that digital technologies can really affect a person's psychological well-being and cognitive abilities, and this depends on the total time spent behind the screen and on what people actually do in a digital environment.

The complexity and scale of the problem of suicide among children and adolescents, due to the psychological characteristics of age and a variety of causes, necessitate the development of effective preventive measures. The work examines the substantive aspects and types of prevention, measures aimed at developing a positive attitude towards life in adolescents, supporting mental health and preserving their lives. It has been revealed that prevention includes a number of measures aimed at avoiding the development of crisis situations, early detection of depression signs and other psychological disorders, improvement of mental health and development of a positive worldview.
The article systematizes the theoretical and practical aspects of project-based activity for children and adolescents. It presents the stages of the project cycle, age-differentiated planning (7–18 years), role distribution within the team, as well as monitoring algorithms and multi-component assessment of outcomes. The transformation of the teacher's role from controller to facilitator is substantiated. Tools (start-lists, rubrics, checklists) are offered for use in school and supplementary education.
