The article is devoted to the study of the issue of the need for early career guidance work with preschool children. Early career guidance is considered as one of the mechanisms for identifying preferences among pupils of preschool educational institutions in choosing a future profession. The main directions of such activities in kindergarten are outlined, the forms, methods and means of early career guidance for preschoolers are presented.
In the context of accelerated technological progress and digitalization of the Russian economy, the importance of training qualified personnel is increasing. It is necessary to actively involve young people in the vocational education system, starting from the level of basic general and secondary general education. For effective cooperation, it is necessary to provide professional training for teachers-mentors and develop programs for pre-professional orientation of schoolchildren in sought-after specialties. An example of successful cooperation in this field is the implementation of a pre-professional training program in the direction of «Adaptive physical education teacher». The potential of the opportunities provided by the platform of the federal project «Ticket to the Future» within the framework of the project «Success of every Child» in terms of the development and implementation of an early professional orientation program for schoolchildren in grades 6-11 of a general education school with the competence «Teacher of adaptive physical education» has been investigated.
