The article examines the legal basis for regulating relations between owners of adjacent land plots in Russian legislation, including the concept of neighborly rights and the institution of servitude. It analyzes the problems of establishing servitude, determining a reasonable fee, and taking into account the boundaries of plots based on judicial practice. The article proposes measures for improvement, such as the legislative consolidation of neighborly rights and the development of non-judicial procedures.
