This paper covers the issues of military-patriotic education of cadets of military educational institutions, which is aimed not only at teaching practical skills and abilities in military affairs, but also at forming the moral qualities of the individual and ideological attitudes of cadet, which in their totality contribute to the implementation of measures to fulfill civic duty and constitutional obligations to protect the interests of the Motherland.
The issues of military-patriotic education of cadets are considered. As one of the forms of education, the participation of cadets in providing assistance to participants in a special military operation is proposed. The analysis of the work done, the possibility of developing military professional competence and patriotic education of cadets is carried out.
The study aims to diagnose the socio-psychological state of adolescents participating in the children's and youth military-patriotic movement in order to assess the emotional and psychological climate and personal characteristics in a camp setting. The novelty of the work lies in the combined use of psychogeometric testing, the «Tree» technique, emotional and psychological climate assessment, and one-stage clustering to obtain a comprehensive portrait of participants in a field camp context. The results obtained have an applied value for the development of purposeful educational and correctional-developmental programs, the formation of balanced squad teams and methodological recommendations for teachers and organizers of military-patriotic shifts.
