The article is devoted to the analysis of conflictogenic nonverbal signals, most often found in the correspondence of the Internet messenger Whatsapp. The purpose of the study is to identify potentially conflicting ways of nonverbal communication in correspondence. Chats with correspondence of parents and school teachers are analyzed. Negative nonverbal signals were revealed, manifested in the use of capital letters, a number of exclamation or question marks, emojis depicting anger, etc.
This article explores nonverbal communication within virtual spaces, particularly focusing on school chats on the internet. The primary objective is to identify nonverbal conflict triggers, such as emojis, capital letters, and other symbols that provoke or escalate verbal conflicts. The study aims to uncover aggressive nonverbal communication methods through a psycholinguistic experiment. Findings reveal that these signals can elicit negative emotional reactions and affect the overall atmosphere of communication. The research emphasizes the importance of mindful and empathetic communication in the educational online environment.
Contemporary international relations are increasingly challenged by cultural and linguistic barriers that lead to communication crises. This article explores various preventive strategies, including protocol standardization and intercultural adaptation programs. Practical solutions to communication dysfunctions have been developed based on both classical and modern approaches. Special attention is given to the role of linguistic factors and the cultural environment in global interactions.
In communication it is important to take into account non-verbal signals: voice, gestures, facial expressions. The article examines why it is important for a foreign language teacher to use non-verbal communication correctly, provided that non-verbal signals are responsible for the greatest part of communication and affect the students’ emotions. Cultural differences in the meanings of gestures play a special role in foreign language teaching. Correct usage of nonverbal means and taking into consideration the indicators of students' behavior and state of mind make the lesson more efficient and interesting.
