The article raises a question about one of the key directions of increase of efficiency of the enterprise - reducing costs by eliminating the losses that do not add value to the product or service. With the help of process-oriented management to build a system of effective management of the company, which allows to significantly improve the quality of strategic and operational decisions taken by management. This methodology helps to identify processes and products that form the main profit and core competencies that provide competitive advantages to the company. Knowing your strengths and weaknesses, the company becomes much more stable during the crisis.
This article focuses on optimizing business processes in the fitness services sector, using the modeling of the children’s fitness service delivery process as a case study. The objective of the study is to formalize and analyze the sequence of actions to improve the operational efficiency of a fitness club in an increasingly competitive environment. The research methodology is grounded in process management principles and employs IDEF0/IDEF4 notations to detail the key stages of service delivery. The findings include a contextual diagram of the business process, with a detailed breakdown of the core service delivery block. The study demonstrates how customer input requests are transformed into the final product–children’s fitness services–while accounting for regulatory and infrastructural factors. To further enhance efficiency, the application of GAP and ServQual models is proposed. The results can be utilized to standardize, unify, and increase the transparency of business processes in fitness clubs.
