The author views the questions of evolution of modern pedagogical education, determines the features and prospects of its functioning in modern society, finds out the possible directions of the content planning of future teachers professional training.

The article examines the role of the teacher in the development of the personality of younger schoolchildren, reveals the individual components of the pedagogical competence of the modern primary school teacher, identifies the various roles of the teacher in the educational process.

With the introduction of the new Federal State Educational Standard, approaches to school education have radically changed. These approaches have also concerned the students with special developmental needs. However, state-guaranteed inclusive education of this category of students cannot be entirely implemented for several reasons. To improve the effectiveness of teaching children, especially those with intellectual disabilities, long-term and systemic remedial work in the preschool years is needed. Whereas school and kindergarten teachers must be professionally trained to work in an inclusive environment.

The article is devoted to the consideration of the genre of sports ballroom dance in the context of its historical, national development. The pedagogical approach is comprehended from the perspective of the problem of training a specialist – a future teacher of music and choreography. Based on the study of historical and national characteristics, sports ballroom dance is named among the priority areas of art education in the preparation of future teachers. The article emphasizes the importance of the formation of pedagogical competence of students aimed at mastering the methodology of teaching choreographic art in the link of additional education of schoolchildren. The author of the article provides information concerning the periodization of Chinese ballet, the work of outstanding choreographers of China.
