This paper presents the results of a study of conductive composites based on low-density polyethylene. To create fuel canisters, conductive grades of carbon black were injected into the polyethylene using extrusion blow molding. During the study, the deformation and strength properties, specific volume electrical resistance, melt flow index and density of the obtained materials were assessed. It has been shown that 12.5–15.0 wt.% carbon black must be added to polymer matrices to achieve electrical conductivity sufficient to provide effective static-dissipative resistance (<106 Ohm cm). The carbon black concentration depends on the grade of polyethylene composite.
