The article describes adolescent and youth subcultures as a social phenomenon. The psychological characteristics of their representatives are revealed. The diagnosis of psychological characteristics of representatives of adolescent and youth subcultures was carried out. Then, based on the data obtained, recommendations were developed for the organization of a differentiated socio-pedagogical approach with representatives of adolescent and youth subcultures.

This article examines the forms and methods of social and pedagogical work with adolescents with deviant behavior. Individual (conversations, supervision, supervision) and group (trainings, play sessions, debates) forms of work are considered, as well as methods of influence: observation, persuasion, exercises, rewards, and punishment. The importance of a comprehensive approach and the priority of prevention are emphasized.
