The paper considers the power supply systems of 13 districts of the Republic of Sakha (Yakutia), which are part of the Arctic zone of the Russian Federation. One of the main problems of energy in the Arctic territories of the republic is the remoteness of territories, underdevelopment of infrastructure, obsolescence of equipment, which entails a high cost of energy production. The exploited renewable energy sources are considered. The calculation of fuel economy during the introduction of SES to the operated DES in the Arctic regions of the republic was carried out. Active and passive ways of reducing heat energy losses are given.
This article examines a mathematical model of the components of the electricity price. Its objective is defined as minimizing the overall cost. A hypothetical calculation of the electricity cost is presented for a region with diverse generation, such as the Rostov Region, home to the Rostov Nuclear Power Plant, Novocherkassk State District Power Plant, combined heat and power plants, and wind farms. The authors base this calculation on an assessment of the specific production costs of different types of power plants. The article also presents calculations of the cost of electricity production for coal, gas, and renewable energy sources.
