This article is devoted to the evaluation of metasubject educational results in foreign language learning in general school. The definition of metasubject educational results is given here. Types of evaluation are represented in this article. The main accent is made on the summative evaluation. As an example, a fragment of diagnostic work in English for the 5th grade is given here.

The article is devoted to the urgent problem of teaching English grammar in 5th grade, where traditional methods lead to low motivation and poor learning due to the high motor activity of children aged 10-11 and the digitalization of education. A review of the literature (Vygotsky, Elkonin, Clarin, Passova) emphasizes the role of outdoor games in the zone of proximal development and the communicative approach. Tasks include analyzing the basics, creating 5 games, pilot evaluation, and recommendations.
