The article examines the concept and key characteristics of the professional position of a teacher. It is revealed that the structure of a teacher's professional position includes the following components: awareness of the special significance of the teaching profession, an understanding of the dual nature of the profession (transformative and managerial), a commitment to the development and shaping of students' personalities, and the ability to organize effective pedagogical interactions. It is noted that a teacher's professional position is a dynamic phenomenon that teachers must develop and refine throughout their professional career.
