The article is devoted to the research of the peculiarities of the realization of the logical comparison model in the Russian simple sentence, which reflects comparative relations explicitly and implicitly. The description of simple sentences with different comparison indicators, widely displayed in the heroic legend “Maadai-Kara”, is discriminated as the initial stage of the investigation of comparative constructions in the given text in the light of the modern anthropocentric congruence theory.
The paper gives a brief overview of the expression of the associative connection of phenomena in syntactic constructions. As examples, sentences from the works of A.P. Chekhov are taken, comparative constructions are chosen as the subject of analysis. The aim is to determine the place of comparative adjuncts in literary works.
The article examines comparative constructions in which humans are compared to inanimate objects and things. The following types of comparative images are highlighted: technological objects; household items; objects new to society; items of clothing, toiletries, and jewelry; food; objects associated with economic relations and material values; and the names of weapons and other military objects. It is noted that comparing humans to inanimate objects is one of the trends in the contemporary use of comparative constructions, which clearly reflects pragmatism and the concrete nature of modern life.
